RECOMBITEK® delivers advanced and proven technology.
All RECOMBITEK® Brand Equine Vaccines owe at least part of their effectiveness to advanced science called recombinant canarypox-vectored vaccine technology. The combination vaccine, RECOMBITEK rWNV-EWT also uses more traditional killed virus technology for its Eastern equine encephalitis (EEE) and Western equine encephalitis (WEE) as well as the tetanus toxoid fraction.
The recombinant technology used in RECOMBITEK vaccines stimulates both arms of the horse’s immune system (circulating antibodies and cell-mediated immunity),1,2 and uses only the proteins needed by the horse to stimulate immunity.
